Logo

Use primary logos on light backgrounds, and alternate logos with dark backgrounds. Logos may be uniformly resized but may not be redrawn, rotated, recolored, distorted, or otherwise altered.

The tilted "r" in alternate logos is deliberately transparent so that it can match the background color. Do not fill in the "r" with a different color.

Do not display logos against a textured background.

Terminology

ThePinkPill is broken into numerous smaller messaging and commenting boards focused around a variety of topics. These boards are called "Subs". Sub names always start with a + symbol, and are usually (though not always) named after their topic of interest. For example, +news is a Sub focused on sharing and discussion of news and current events.

The users who create and moderate Subs are called "Moderators". Moderators are regular users, and have no affiliation with ThePinkPill LLC beyond having a ThePinkPill.co account.

Users can submit posts to Subs. They can also can add comments as replies to posts or other comments.

Moderators cannot hide or remove content. They can "kick" off-topic posts out of their sub. Such content then appears in +general, an unmoderated Sub that functions as a catch-all area. Similarly, Moderators can "yank" content from +general into their own sub. When a post is kicked or yanked, all of its comments move with it.

When referring to the ThePinkPill social media platform, use "ThePinkPill" or "ThePinkPill.co".

When referring to the business which owns and operates the ThePinkPill platform, use "ThePinkPill LLC".

When referring to the owners, staff, or other elements of ThePinkPill LLC, use "ThePinkPill staff", "ThePinkPill owners", or similar phrasing.

Users of the ThePinkPill platform may be informally called "Ruqqies", or formally "ThePinkPill users".

Coloring

The name of the ThePinkPill's iconic pink color is "HopBush". The RGB is 213, 90, 163 and the hex code is #d55aa3.

Licensing

The assets on this page ("brand assets") may be used for the following purposes, under a limited, nonexclusive, nontransferable, royalty-free license ("the License"):

• To link to ThePinkPill, enable sharing to ThePinkPill, or refer to your presence on ThePinkPill.
• To indicate the presence of a ThePinkPill-powered embed of content from ThePinkPill.
• As specifically permitted by a separate written agreement you have with ThePinkPill LLC

Use of brand assets for the following is not permitted under the License:

• Placing ThePinkPill name or brand assets on apparel or merchandise, without written approval from ThePinkPill LLC.
• Using the ThePinkPill name or brand assets as a name, or part of a name, of a company, product, service, application, website, domain name, or social media account.

Terms of the License. A violation of these terms shall automatically terminate your License.

• Do not modify the brand assets or use modified versions found elsewhere.
• Do not use the ThePinkPill name or brand assets in a manner that implies a partnership with, or endorsement by, ThePinkPill.co or ThePinkPill LLC.
• Do not use the ThePinkPill name or brand assets in connection with material that violates the ThePinkPill terms of service or content policy.
• Do not use the brand assets in connection with content that disparages ThePinkPill.co, ThePinkPill LLC, or ThePinkPill staff.

ThePinkPill LLC may revoke your License at any time and for any reason.

A failure by ThePinkPill in one or more instances to insist upon your strict adherence to these licence terms, shall not be construed as a waiver of any continuing or subsequent violations of these license terms.

Content

The following requirements must be met when attributing any ThePinkPill content within ediorial content:

Do:

• Explicitly state and cite ThePinkPill. (Logo assets may be helpful here.)
• Capitalize "ThePinkPill", except when using it as part of "ThePinkPill.co" or within links
• Capitalize "ThePinkPill LLC"
• Link to the original ThePinkPill post, comment, or community if it appears online.
• Use the full text of the post or comment.
• Respect the displayed capitalization of ThePinkPill sub names and user names.
• Refer to subs as "+subname"
• Refer to individual users as "@username"

Do not:

• Screenshot ThePinkPill content to use within digital editorial content. (Embed it instead.)
• Alter posts, comments, username identification, or any other content found on ThePinkPill.
• Quote a ThePinkPill user without properly attributing the quote to them and providing a link to the comment.
• Omit part of a comment or post text.
• Capitalize "ThePinkPill.co"
• Leave outdated versions of content up. Changes or deletions to content should be reflected in a timely manner. (Use of ThePinkPill-powered embeds is the best way to accomplish this.)

Verbal rules:

• Explicitly state that content is from ThePinkPill
• Do not alter the title, text, or meaning of the content.
• Read content in full. Do not excerpt content. Do not attempt to quote content from memory.
